OMIŠ
Omiš is a small central Dalmatian town located between Split and Makarska, at the confluence of the river Cetina and the Adriatic Sea. Located in the heart of Dalmatia, the town of Omiš and the tourist destinations of the Omiš Riviera are the perfect starting point for exploring the rest of Dalmatia. What to visit
In the immediate vicinity of Omis is the second largest Croatian city Split on one side, and Makarska and Mount Biokovo on the other. The ancient Roman city Split and Salona are only half an hour's drive from Omis. The islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Vis are all in close vicinity of Omiš and easily accessible. With a day trip you can visit Dubrovnik, which is about 200 km away (two hours drive).
